We could hardly be Detroit Bold if we didn’t include an authentic look at the city that bears our name. Detroit is a wonderful place to call home and we are proud of every hardworking Detroiter that gives us our backbone. We are reminded today that we still have work to do to fulfill the promises of equality and we should always strive to move forward. And while we do, we will honor the life of Dr. King with a commitment to always support and foster opportunity for our community and all its inhabitants, citizens, visitors and people with dignity and respect, without regard.
